Born to Prema & Vasudeva Rao in Bengaluru on 26th of August
My launch pad was as an Creative Arts Instructor in one of India's Best Institution, Bishop Cotton Boys School. It was great platform to share my vast knowledge with the children and in turn bring out the best out of their creativity, moulding them about the finer aspects of Creative Arts.
Additionally I did acquire a variety of art exposure like drawing, painting or making sculptures by attending art camps, workshops, training etc., which is very much necessary to improve and keep abreast with the art advancement.
I quit the job after a term of 5 years and got engrossed as a Research Associate at MAYA, a non-governmental organization, studing "the art and its impact on street children."
Working style and the medium
My work style includes intricate line drawings, pastels, watercolors, and acrylics. I find great joy taking more time working out on the intricate lines and forms and figuratives and in recent times have started to indulge in attempting abstracts.
I have also experimented in sculptures with bronze and copper sheet metal, although my affair with wood had begun from school days.
